This is to inform you about the upgrade of your server that we are going to perform in order to increase the speed of web sites, the reliability and your hosting experience as a whole.
We are going to migrate your cloud server to an upgraded and much more reliable cloud infrastructure. It is configured to use the hardware resources of the servers in the most efficient way. As a result your cloud server's performance will be increased by 15-20% at no additional cost. We will use the chance to upgrade your database server from MySQL to MariaDB which is more reliable and much quicker. Nothing is required to be done from your end in regards to the upgrade. You will keep your current IP's too.
The upgrade of your server will be performed on the 17th of August 2017 (Thursday) between 5.00 PM and 11.00 PM. The expected service interruption is 30 - 60 minutes which we will need to perform a final sync of the data from the old to the new server.
